Solar energy prices slowly decline

Polysilicon quotes came in the range of $118/kg to $130/kg; while in terms of silicon wafers, the May Day holiday affected the market with a strong wait-and-see atmosphere and the product prices fell simultaneously.

Monocrystalline wafers are offered at prices ranging from $7.8RMB/piece to $8.2RMB/piece. Polysilicon wafers are offered at $5.7RMB/piece to $6.1RMB/piece. Battery and module transactions are light and prices remain flat.

In the US dollar offer (below), due to the weakening demand, polysilicon spot price continued to fall, and the average price came to $16.5USD/kg, a decrease of 2.71%;

In terms of silicon wafers, doubts about the demand in May, the buyer began to lower the target price, this week, the average price of Mono c-Si and Multi c-Si silicon wafers fell simultaneously.

The average price of Mono c-Si wafers was $1.197 USD/piece, a decrease of 1.56%, while that of Multi c-Si wafers was $0.897 USD/piece, a decrease of 1.86%.

In terms of batteries and modules, long and short messages were mixed, and battery prices were flat. In terms of modules, some non-Chinese products offered higher prices. The average price this week was $0.679 USD/Watt, an increase of 0.44%.
